Long Covid and other post-viral health complications often lead us into a cycle of boom and bust, where we start to feel better so we jump into new diet and/or fitness routines, determined to be well. We do too much, too soon – and crash. In most cases this leads to a cycle of decline where instead of improving our health and wellbeing, we end up making it worse! This book is designed to help.Why do we fall into this cycle? What can we do about it? How can I get well, happy and healthy without forever feeling trapped in this cycle?Does it absolutely have to involve exercise?I am a 40-something woman who has had covid more than once, and has enduring long covid symptoms. I’m not an expert in anything other than me – but I have had an enormous amount of support from professionals, and would like to share that with people in an accessible manner that doesn’t cost ridiculous money, or mean that you can only make the most of it if you have the right equipment and support networks. I try to be completely honest throughout, about my own experiences and what I did wrong, or found really difficult – but I also try to come at this from a kind place. You really can get through this, and improve your own health and wellbeing – but only if you promise to be kind to yourself, too!
