Thus, understanding the hard work that goes into one’s dream of achieving homeownership comes easy. Today, with years of experience in working with for profit and non-profit organizations Toni has developed an arsenal of valuable experiences to draw from when assisting others to successfully navigate trending quality of life challenges in common interest communities. Toni’s philosophy is, “At the core of every common interest community is the paradigm that neither homeowner associations nor condominium owner associations were created for the benefit of for-profit organizations. Neither were they created for the pecuniary gain of segmented groups of families within an association nor individual lot owner/members of the association. Homeowner and condominium associations were created to preserve property values through the proper maintenance of lots and common areas within the development. They were created to administrate the affairs of the association in accordance with state and federal laws alongside of its governing documents. They were also created to safeguard property owner rights by honoring the covenants and declarations that convey with all lots purchased in a development. When landowners resolve to doing nothing in response to a financially irresponsible, negligent, mismanaged associations HOAs and COAs continually drift further and further away from their intended purpose.”
