The book describes life-threatening fire calls that include industrial explosions, and opportunities he encountered to save lives. Brad addresses relevant issues facing the fire service, such as firefighter cancer. In an effort to reduce line-of-duty deaths, he describes some of them and how the members of his own fire department had a near miss with same.

About Bradley R. Davidson CCFI-C CFEI CFII

Bradley R Davidson is a new author from Flin Flon, MB, Canada, and he shares the tragedies and triumphs from his forty years in fire & emergency services, including a mass-casualty incident, explosions, rescues and more. The book includes contributions from Rich Gasaway,, Andy Starnes, Todd Leduc, Jerry Tracy FDNY (ret.), Martin Bell, and Brian Humphreys.. Bradley has a depth and breadth of fire-service experience, training and education, including studies in fire-service management and a fire-service leadership certificate from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is an FDIC Honeywell DuPont Kevlar scholarship recipient, and attended the Fire Department Instructors Conference (held each year in Indianapolis IN) in 2017. He returned to FDIC in 2018, selected this time as a fire instructor and returning scholar.
