A young Russian writer finds three postcards on the street, each with a single word written in them, and later he finds the author of those same postcards, a depressive young woman with whom he falls in love with, but as their relationship moves at a slow pace he wonders if she loves him or if she’s using him. The first book by Russian author Iosif Radek, “every love story is a sad story” is a book about love and depression, and about the need to find a place for ourselves in this world.
