About Richard Spector

Richard is a retired Navy veteran and senior executive turned Author, Business Confidant, and Life Coach. Richard began his career by serving ten years on active duty with the United States Navy, including serving as a Company Commander (RDC), better known as a drill Instructor. In that position, he trained nine divisions at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, personally preparing over 800 sailors for successful naval careers. Additionally, he served aboard the USS Forrestal CV-59, an aircraft carrier stationed in Mayport, Florida, and the USS Pensacola LSD-38, a ship based at Naval Amphibious Base (NAB) Little Creek, Virginia, which supported Seal Team Ten and other special operations groups. After the attacks on 9/11, Richard extended his military service by enlisting an additional two years with the Army National Guard.As a Certified Navy Instructor, Richard also served as part of the Navy’s Command Training Team, conducting classes on leadership, team building, effective communication, career counseling, and other success strategies for enlisted and officer-ranked personnel. After his honorable discharge, Richard entered the business world and spent another 25 years climbing the corporate ladder, achieving many successful senior management positions within the education, technology, and retail industries. Later, he formed his own consulting company and currently serves as a confidante/mentor to many aspiring executives and other professionals in various sectors. Richard specializes in life coaching, leadership development, management consulting, and turnaround situations. He is also a Certified Law of Attraction Advance Practitioner (LACP) through the Global Sciences Foundation, focusing on personal development and other life improvement studies.
