From science fiction adventures to Eldritch horror. Explore these characters’ stories as they dive into the unknown.

Description

Our collection of flash fiction starts with “Ten Minutes Past.” This story recounts the incredible voyage of a young scientist who catapults his way home to the 1960s after a test drive of the time machine he has just created. Follow the journey of this lab scientist who now must deal with the challenges of fieldwork. The next story is “The Pit.” On a day just like any other, a hiker comes across an old man stuck in a pit. The man in the pit shares his life story and how he came to be trapped through the fog of his dwindling sanity. The hiker must decide whether or not to try to help the man and reckon with what it means to be trapped.”Absence” is a story about nothing. The concept itself; what is it to be nothing? It is impossible for a human to comprehend as everything we know at least has a bit of something in it. This is the story of nothing, an eldritch horror beyond comprehension. Last but most certainly not least is “The Boston Job.” Analyst Simon is called in with his old friend Zayir to try to figure out what happened with an art robbery gone very, very wrong. Was the gore spread scene caused by something human? Or is there something much more sinister lurking behind the canvas?
