About Millicent Taffe

Millicent is a member of the British Lover’s Rock group ‘Simplicity’. After amassing a series of classic hits, she auditioned for the American girl band, ‘The Flirtations.’ Millicent remembers that at Ernestine’s party the Drifters sang, ‘Happy Birthday’. It was a surreal moment and one that she will never forget. Rehearsals were disciplined and involved a lot of ‘Supremes-style’ choreography and harmonies. When they embarked on their European tour it was a massive success. Millicent released with sisters Ernestine and Shirley, ‘Read all About it.’ Millicent is now gigging and making records revitalising the classic hits of ‘Simplicity.’ As a songwriter, Millicent finds creating melodic lyrics and all forms of prose, an enjoyable art form. Watch out for her many creative endeavours.
